ILR ZETA Shave Soap 5 oz. (Bay Rum, Lime and Black Pepper)

Zeta is the sixth in our new and improved beef tallow based shaving soaps.

Zeta is a throwback to a classic shaving soap scent – Bay Rum and Lime – but, with a spicy twist!

This, by far, is one of the most complex scents we have to offer! When you first open the jar, you are immediately hit with sweet and tangy citrus. Top notes of Kaffir lime, Japanese grapefruit, tangerine, and a hint of lemon, middle notes of Italian Bergamot and strawberries, and base notes of brown sugar and oakmoss all make up the “lime” in Zeta. Next, your olfactory senses are soothed by the bay rum. Top notes of orange and apple, middle notes of cinnamon, clove and cool mint, and base notes of pine, cedarwood, vanilla, musk, and patchouli go into the “bay rum”. Finally, the “spicy twist”. We added black pepper to the mix to round out this extremely complex scent.

We have completely revamped our entire shaving soap line; including new packaging and scents. These soaps (like our English Bridle strops) are pure luxury and are made of the absolute finest ingredients we could find. All of our soaps are 100% handmade. They produce a rich, heavy lather quite quickly and leave a residual slickness and silky feeling on the face.

Scent level on the Zeta soap (on a scale of 1-10) is a solid 7. When warmed, it will rise to a 7.5.

Each soap is a MINIMUM of 5 ounces. Although, most will be noticeably more.
